If you’re a golfer who wants to break 80, you have one heck of a challenge ahead of you. That said, it is possible. It’s just going to take a lot of work. We already know that it will require a lot of golf lessons, a ton of repetitions, and plenty of confidence. But it will also require a fitness program. To break 80, your muscles need to have plenty of endurance. That being the case, you need to follow a muscle endurance workout program, which means 3 sets of 8-20 reps for many different muscle groups. For each set, increase the weight and reduce the reps. Use a 20-15-8 approach. As long as you stay at 8 reps and above, you will not bulk up and you will improve your muscle endurance. If you follow a muscle endurance program as instructed, you should reach your fitness goals in 6 weeks. It’s also important that you add cardio.

Those who have trouble with their swing often ask for golf swing tips. While everyone’s swing is different, there are a few rules of thumb that every golfer should consider in order to improve their swing.

When you swing, always keep your eye on the ball. Many golfers catch themselves looking forward or up when they swing, but you won’t be able to make solid contact without keeping your eye directly on the ball. Trust me; this is one of the best golf swing tips you’ll ever get. Another good tip is to not swing too hard; remember that you are holding a golf club, not a baseball bat. Swing with confidence, but don’t swing harder than you have to.

When I started out as a novice golfer, the Internet was already in full effect. There were golf websites online. Unless I was sitting in the waiting area of a doctor’s office, reading a golf tips magazine never crossed my mind. However, as the Internet continued to grow, more and more golf websites and blogs started appearing. At first this was a great thing, but then it got to the point where the signal to noise ratio was extremely low. Eventually I found myself going retro. I subscribe to a high profile golf tips magazine. I still frequent the blogs and the websites. However, when it comes to the golf tips magazine, I have a lot more confidence that all of the information is valid.

Players of all handicaps should always take the opportunity to get a golf course lesson. Different from lessons given at the range or a practice facility, a golf course lesson allows the player to encounter situations they may face in the course of a round. Players cannot always reproduce course conditions with available practice facilities. Golf course lessons can provide, along with the experience of playing under a situation where imaginative play might be necessary, the confidence in hitting every shot a player needs when they are on the course without their coach or teacher. Playing under course conditions with peers or colleagues can be unnerving when a player faces unknown scenarios. A golf course lesson minimizes the likelihood of such an event.

I read about this place online that offers guaranteed golf instruction. They promise that if your game doesn’t improve, you’ll get your money back. It seems like a pretty good deal, and if I had a local place with guaranteed golf instruction, I would probably take advantage of it.

Offering a guarantee shows a lot of confidence in their instruction methods, because I have seen many players fail to improve under very competent teaches. Some people just don’t apply themselves properly, and it can be difficult to get past that. For anyone who lives near someone offering this kind of guarantee, you should definitely give it a try.
