guaranteed golf instruction

Guaranteed golf instruction should serve as a red flag that the instructor offering the lessons is either overconfident or under qualified. Most good golf pros will acknowledge that there are no guarantees in any facet of sports, particularly in a sport that is cerebral as golf. Under certain circumstances, the most gifted golf pro in the business could not improve your game. A significant portion of success in golf is driven by your mental abilities – are you able to remain focuses under pressure, to remember the subtle lessons that you have learned, and then deliver. Because so much of this ability must come from within, guaranteed golf instruction is unrealistic. A good teacher can provide you with the tools, but that is all. If the instructor is guaranteeing, it is reason to be skeptical.

If you are going to get golf instruction, then you need to make sure that you’re getting it from the people who know their stuff. There are lots of golf pros out there that have the ability to not only play the game, but also instruct at a very high level. The question for many has to do with value and the price of this golf instruction. Is it worth it to make the call?

The answer is that if you’re serious about getting better at golf, then it absolutely makes sense to get professional instruction. A teaching pro can take your swing and completely revamp it into something much smoother and much better. If you work hard and give it your best effort, then you’ll come up with big time improvement.

I Finally Paid for Private Golf Lessons

After years of internal struggle and minimal improvement in my game, I finally gave in and paid for private golf lessons. The turning point came when I went golfing with a friend with whom I hadn’t golfed with in years. At the end of the 18 holes he half-jokingly told me that I had the same game as I had the last time we golfed. What’s worse is that I realized he was right.

So, I went to my local golf pro, paid for private golf lessons and quickly found that I had been “practicing” and “improving” a fundamentally wrong golf swing. Through his private golf lessons, I’ve shown more improvement in the last month, than I’ve shown over the last year.

Instead of having to pay and attend a traditional lesson, there are many advantages to a video golf lesson. Traditional golf lessons can be expensive and are only given in the warmer months of the year. With a video golf lesson, you pay one time and can still benefit from the instruction of a seasoned professional golfer. Also, you can learn whenever you want and at the pace that works best for you. The video will give you all the same techniques, tips and tricks of the game with clear instructions and a model for you to follow. These will also up you to advance your skills as you learn.

Being a teacher is another way of being a student.

I have found that if you really want to improve your game, it’s a good idea to try giving a golf tip to someone else. When you help other people with their mistakes, you’ll often notice things that can help you in your own game. Seeing another person’s game from the outside raises your objectivity, and after a while it makes it easier to see golf in a different light. Next time you see a friend or relative struggling with something, give them a golf tip, and you may find that you learn a little something in the process. The progression from student to teacher is one of the most profound educational opportunities of all, and any golfer would be wise to take advantage of it.

If you are into playing tournaments, then you know all about the difficulties of keeping your game at a high level. Those folks who are looking for golf tournament help you recognize that much of the difficulty comes from the mental side of the game. You have to be strong in tournaments and you have to recognize that it’s about keeping yourself sharp for a period of many days.

Getting golf tournament help from a pro prior to playing in your next tournament might be a good idea. Teaching pros will be able to point you in the right direction and they will be able to make sure that you’re in the right frame of mind. It may be impossible to get access to Tiger Woods golf instruction, but there are plenty of great golfers out there that can help you improve your skills. Whether you are having trouble with putting, or you can’t seem to hit the ball straight, it’s easy to find a skilled trainer who can show you all the tricks necessary to raise your game to a new level. If you get solid teaching, it won’t be long before you start hitting the ball further, and sinking more putts. Great players are often terrible teachers anyway, so you might find that you are better off with a local pro than you would be with Tiger Woods golf instruction.

Try to be open minded about the kind of instruction you are seeking.

I would advise someone considering professional golf instruction to think about buying a DVD set, or even browsing the internet. Some of the greatest pros in golf have put out videos with lots of great tips, and others provide instruction on the internet. A professional golf instruction video can be almost as great as getting personal access to a pro, and in some ways it’s even better because you can rewind and watch things repeatedly. In general it’s also easy to save a lot of money using this method, so you should really consider it as a viable option. Golf is a complex game, and seeking out some form of instruction is a lot better than struggling to learn it by yourself.

It arrived very quickly, and there were plenty of great tips on each tape. I was able to apply these to my game, and I think I’m already becoming a better golfer. The information was concise, and well explained. I think videos are a pretty good source when it comes to golf tips for beginners, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a purchase. Golf lessons for the gals: different from men’s?

Posted in Uncategorized on January 12th, 2010 by admin – Be the first to comment

As a game, golf is pretty complicated, so it would make sense that golf lessons need to be directed towards the type of person that is getting the lesson. When we talk about ladies golf instruction, we are talking about targeting the specific swing problems that plague women on the course. But is ladies golf instruction that much different from the lessons that men get?

The answer is that these lessons are not that much different in most cases. Whether you are a man or a woman, you still need to learn tempo, takeaway, and follow through. You still need to have a swing plane that works. Those who handle male golf instruction can easily do ladies golf instruction, too, because the differences are not that pronounced at all.
