I Finally Paid for Private Golf Lessons

Posted in Uncategorized on February 15th, 2010 by admin – 1,227 Comments

After years of internal struggle and minimal improvement in my game, I finally gave in and paid for private golf lessons. The turning point came when I went golfing with a friend with whom I hadn’t golfed with in years. At the end of the 18 holes he half-jokingly told me that I had the same game as I had the last time we golfed. What’s worse is that I realized he was right.

So, I went to my local golf pro, paid for private golf lessons and quickly found that I had been “practicing” and “improving” a fundamentally wrong golf swing. Through his private golf lessons, I’ve shown more improvement in the last month, than I’ve shown over the last year.

Can I actually get better from a video golf lesson?

One of the things that most golfers are always looking to do is make some improvement in their game. This is an abstract idea and there are many different ways to get to that goal. One of those is by listening to the advice presented in a video golf lesson. Can you actually improve from the tips presented in one of these resources?

The answer is that you can most certainly get better if you actually take to heart what the video golf lesson is trying to teach.

Many times, you problem will be something that is small and correctable with the appropriate practice techniques. A video golf lesson can help you discover what these little problems are and from there, you can work hard on the driving range to find some solutions.

This certainly beats the alternative, which leaves you just hacking away and hoping for the best.
