If you want the proper golf swing instruction then you need to forget about the ordinary. For instance, when most people think of golf swing instruction, they think about their driver and their irons. That makes sense considering the wording of golf swing instruction. However, if you want a form of golf swing instruction that will be a lot more effective, then you need to focus on your grip and your putting. Yes, your grip is a part of your swing. Putting is also a form of a golf swing. You’re swinging an object, even if it might be much lighter than how you swing a driver or your irons. Basically, if you want to learn faster than other golfers, you need your golf swing instruction to focus on your grip and putting first, not your driver and irons.

There is a lot of debate out there about what might be the best golf book of all time. In my opinion, it would have to be “Ben Hogan’s 5 Lessons: The Modern Fundamentals of Golf”. This book is very useful, and a great starting point for any new golfer to examine. It’s a true classic of the genre, and I think it’s a very easy choice for the best golf book ever. I would also say that “Bobby Jones on Golf” is another wonderful choice for the beginning golfer, and should probably be tucked somewhere on any golf enthusiast’s shelf.

I would advise someone considering professional golf instruction to think about buying a DVD set, or even browsing the internet. Some of the greatest pros in golf have put out videos with lots of great tips, and others provide instruction on the internet. A professional golf instruction video can be almost as great as getting personal access to a pro, and in some ways it’s even better because you can rewind and watch things repeatedly. In general it’s also easy to save a lot of money using this method, so you should really consider it as a viable option. Golf is a complex game, and seeking out some form of instruction is a lot better than struggling to learn it by yourself.

People are always asking me for golf swing tips, and I don’t mind providing them. I honestly think I learn almost as much from giving tips these days, as I do from practicing. Teaching another person is a great way to get some new insight into what you are doing. I’ve heard musicians say this before many times, and I’m not surprised that golf is actually the same way. Learning to play this game is a lot like learning a musical instrument.

With all these people asking me for golf swing tips, I’ve also considered becoming an instructor. My game is very solid, and people seem to get a lot out of my advice. It’s definitely something I’m going to seriously consider.

A lot of people talk about the perfect golf swing and they assume that they can get there through hard work. Really, you can’t get the perfect golf swing without quality instruction. Self help methods are good, but you need some resource to teach you the basics of a good golf swing if you are ever going to score lower.

The problem for many is that they just have way too much movement going on in their golf swing. There are so many parts that they can’t get everything to work in unison. How can you overcome a problem like this, since it seems to be a pretty big one at the core? Ultimately, you have to really work hard to keep it simple. A simple golf swing is a good start for players who want to grow into better players.
