Posted in Uncategorized on August 28th, 2010 by admin – 1,074 Comments

Have you ever looked for high-quality online golf tips only to have spam-filled random Google searches bog you down? We’ve all been there, done that. Next time you go searching start with video resources like YouTube. YouTube is chock full of online golf tips from the pros, and the signal-to-noise ratio is higher than it is with written tips.

If you’re looking for something to read, go straight to the high-profile golf magazines. All of them have a strong online presence, and in many cases, they publish as much as 75% of the magazine online. Another great avenue for free online golf tips is Google books. This is a great resource to find high-quality material from respected authors. Of course, you can’t read the entire book, but it’s a great way to expose yourself to golf books you may want to read.

When I started out as a novice golfer, the Internet was already in full effect. There were golf websites online. Unless I was sitting in the waiting area of a doctor’s office, reading a golf tips magazine never crossed my mind. However, as the Internet continued to grow, more and more golf websites and blogs started appearing. At first this was a great thing, but then it got to the point where the signal to noise ratio was extremely low. Eventually I found myself going retro. I subscribe to a high profile golf tips magazine. I still frequent the blogs and the websites. However, when it comes to the golf tips magazine, I have a lot more confidence that all of the information is valid.

I bought a golf tips magazine last week, and they had some great advice on putting. I’ve always been a terrible putter, and I’m usually on the lookout for any information that might help me. This golf tips magazine had some very basic concepts, but I think they’ll be useful for me, mainly because they sounded easy to apply.

Sometimes I find putting tips, and I think I have a grasp of them, but I find it difficult to make use of the information. I usually don’t learn well from books and magazines, and I do better with personal instructions. These particular tips were very well written, and I think I have a good sense of what they were suggesting.
