Everyone’s golf game needs a tune up once in awhile. Here are the top three golf tips to help you take your game to the next level:

-1- Practice perfectly. Have a plan when you practice, and focus on one or two skills in each session. Simulate game conditions as much as possible – practicing on the golf course is your best bet. And don’t just go to the driving range – practice your putts too.

-2- Don’t bring your stress to the game. Any kind of tension will negatively affect your tempo and your decision making. Allow the game to become your central focus – this is a great way to reduce stress, too.

-3- One of the most important golf tips is to visualize success. Imagine the perfect drive, the well-placed putt, and you will see improvements in your real play.

Among the all time best golf tips, putting strategies help the most. This is because players of all ages can perform this most basic golf activity. There are even golf courses devoted to this club ? the miniature or putt-putt variety that most young kids are introduced to during the summer months.

The hardest part about putting is being able to properly read the greens. Since even the professional have trouble with this, getting the proper speed is the best option. On long putts it has always been advised to mentally picture a 3 foot circle around the hole and try to get the ball into this ring. A short putt then ensues, which is much easier than a longer one. Maybe the best advice is to always putt at the hole.

Short game refers to the golf shots that are aiming at the hole from less than fifty yards away. Short game also usually refers to the shots that are hit with some type of wedge and the putter. The majority of the short game consists of putting, but chipping is a major part of the short game. Although some players believe that the short game isn’t as important as distance and power, the short game requires that players be accurate and precise when hitting short shots aimed to go into the hole. To be successful at golf, it takes a superior short game to make your ball into the hole in as few chips and putts as possible. Many of the best professionals on tour contribute their success to their amazing short game.
